That is also our work, since it is difficult to algorithmically detect, for example, a faking hexhub. Hubs that cheat with votes also is our work... Such as those that mass PM their users telling them which answers to choose for the questions. This is improper and dishonest behaviour and I do not tolerate it. The vote-begging post on this same board explains my policy with it.

The users can report the hub, which, in turn, leads to action taken against the offense.

It's worth being banned from a hub that sucks anyway.

Keeping such hubs that always advertise and restrict downloads and searches is the primary reason why users are resorting to other forms of P2P.

i guess...and still not many find them...
so they get back to DC...
where they find another hub that does the same...
when will hub owners learn this lesson that stoping advertise will get them 3x more users ?

I will find a way to eliminate these entries. We have good ways of detecting these culprits and making them disappear.

We will bask in the silence of victory soon Wink

Interesting rating system indeed.

Hello btw, I've seen your ++++QPinger++++ in my hub several times and tried to trace from what hublist it came from and never found anything on the net until now. Smiley

The botinfo that it sends should be sufficient to tell. What kind of hubsoftware do you use?

Verlihub.

The only thing your bot was sending was 'hublist.org'. Smiley I first thought it was a new pinger for the old hublist.org but that is still dead so I just waited and kept checking on your bot everytime I saw it in my hub.
Just recently I saw that it gave qsdchublist.org and I was able to find the main site and came here to have a look see. Smiley

Thanks. Smiley

I appreciate the good gesture and offer Smiley, I will take you up on that as I had some questions about this hublist and the site/forum I wished to discuss.

I will however have to come back for that, I just got home from work and need to sleep  Wink.

You may ask questions in another thread before this thread completely loses topic Tongue

I usually let threads get out of hand, since I honestly don't mind an off-topic thread much.
